Bishop Durning High School offers Advanced Level (A-Level) education in accordance with the Tanzanian national curriculum, aiming to prepare students for higher education and professional careers through strong academic training, critical thinking, and discipline. The school offers a variety of A-Level subject combinations including science combinations such as PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), and CBG (Chemistry, Biology, Geography), arts combinations such as HGE (History, Geography, Economics), EGM (Economics, Geography, Mathematics), and HGK (History, Geography, Kiswahili), as well as business-related combinations including ECA (Economics, Commerce, Accountancy), CBA (Commerce, Book Keeping, Accountancy), and EBA (Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy). Admission to A-Level is open to students who have successfully completed O-Level education and meet the academic requirements set by the Ministry of Education and the school, and all admitted students are required to read and follow the official joining instructions before the reporting date.
